Kent Gammon is an attorney at law in Jamaica. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies (Hons.) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons. from the University of the West Indies. He later completed a Master’s degree in Commercial and Corporate Law in New South Wales, in Australia.
He was formerly a caretaker candidate for the St. Andrew South East seat and he co-founded the JLP’s Generation 2000 (G2K). He also sat on the board of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee from 2008 -2011.
Presently Mr. Gammon is the proprietor of his own law firm that specialises in corporate and commercial law, constitutional law and arbitration.
The Most Hon. Edward Phillip George Seaga, ON, P.C., LL.D. (Hon.) was the fifth Prime Minister of Jamaica leaving a legacy of cultural and institutional change.
He was educated at the Wolmer’s Boys School and from there he went to Harvard University where he received a B.A. in Social Sciences. He began a career in the music industry but he was called to a life of service for his country. His political career began in 1959 when he was nominated to serve in the Upper House. He has had a long and venerable career in politics and has now assumed a research post at the University of West Indies.
