Dr. Jean Lee has been serving at the Jamaica Theological Seminary (JTS) since 1993, following a two-year missionary stint in the Dominican Republic with the AsociaciÓn Dominicana de Estudiantes Evangélicos (ADEE), the local arm of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Previously, she served as a teacher of Spanish at Wolmer’s High School for Girls, and Education Officer for Spanish with the Ministry of Education in its Core Curriculum Unit.
Dr. Lee worships regularly at St. Luke’s Church, Cross Roads, and is active both in the local church (in various capacities) and in the wider Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, where she serves the Education and Youth Department as a national volunteer. Her teaching ministry is not confined to her church, or the Seminary, but takes her across denominations, as well as educational institutions. She is often called upon for presentations on Missions, Singleness and Sexuality, and Spirituality.
