Born in the Cockpit country, the Honourable Dr. John Hall was educated at Morris Knibb Preparatory and from there he later moved on to Kingston College. After excelling at the College Dr. Hall studied at the University of London, King’s College and Chairing Cross Hospital medical school. His achievements did not end there; he became a Consultant Neurologist trained at the Institute of Neurology, Queen’s Square, London. He became a Fellow at a number of institutions including the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal Society of Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the New York Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Hall has served his country well and as such he was awarded the Centenary Medal by the Institute of Jamaica as well as the Order of Jamaica for his services to medicine. He is now the Chairman of the Medical Council of Jamaica.
